1. Overview

Letters Through Time ~ Across the Distance (“we,” “our,” “the creator”) offers subscription-based historical fiction letters delivered by mail and/or digital download. By subscribing, purchasing, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms outline what we provide, what you can expect, and how your subscription works.

2. Nature of the Content — Historical Fiction Disclaimer

All letters, stories, illustrations, commentary, and educational materials provided through this service are works of historical fiction inspired by real historical events, family histories, and genealogical research. Although based on documented periods, cultural details, and real individuals’ lives, the letters themselves are creative reconstructions, not original or historical documents. These materials should not be interpreted as literal facts, legal documents, or archival records.

We reserve the right to update or adjust subscription offerings at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated in advance.

4. Billing & Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through PayPal (or the payment processor used at checkout) and automatically renew each billing cycle (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize automatic recurring payments until the yearly subscription completes or you cancel. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through PayPal or by contacting us at the provided email address. Cancellations apply to future billing cycles. Because letters are prepared in advance, we cannot refund payments already processed, but your subscription will stop at the end of the current period.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the handcrafted nature of the letters and the digital components included, all sales are final. However, if your physical letter arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, we will gladly send one replacement at no additional cost. Digital products cannot be refunded once delivered.

7. Delivery & Mailing

Physical letters are sent by USPS using standard mail. Delivery times vary by location and season. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control, but we will work with you to resolve any issues.
